I'm a fan of fantasy. And a fan of the GoT series. But I think this is the only exception where it doesn't matter which you do first. The book was mindblowing, and every page is worth the money. This paperback was pretty sturdy, and didn't come apart in the first reading, despite its thickness.

The words in this book were so beautiful that one could be as creative as a rock and yet be able to imagine what George Martin wants you to see. However, I realised that unlike the great Tolkien and his intricate descriptions, George Martin had brought reality into fiction.
