I tried to edit the files as stated in that thread, however after I did so the game would no longer run. I would get a runtime error when opening the start up file either through autorun or manually. So I removed the program and reinstalled like an idiot n00b I didnt copy and paste the stock files before changing them. Anyway, when I reinstalled the game I had something strage happen.
You know, the stock games that Windows puts there by default when installing the OS. I just opened up the C drive, selected the GoW folder then "right click - delete". I then proceeded deleted the other empty folder on my G drive. Now, when I try to reinstall the game the software thinks I am trying to uninstall it it's the only option it gives me However, when I do it reports an error, windows closes it, and nothing happens.
All efforts result in the game trying to uninstall it self. Seems like there's probably some information still in your registry so when you try to install the dvd it thinks it's already installed. Try searching in regedit to see if there's anything there. Ya, just clean your registery out a bit. There are several programs on the net that can help you do this safely.
You running XP? Vista asks if you want to delete the entries if no folder is found. Looks like there is still files in the registry Then delete. If this doesnt work, you can manually research the registry with the "find in registry" button. GOW or whatever you desire. If something doesnt work out I select install, it does its thing when starting the install wizard, then it asks if I want to uninstall the program and all of it's components.
If I select "no", it exits the program to windows and tells me the uninstall was terminated before finishing BTW, I ran the program and used the standard sweep of the HDDs which I then removed, then I specifically looked for the word "gears" and uninstalled all of those that popped up not in the order, i looked for gears first. Jul I just started playing it however.

All modes on both patched and unpatched images. I still need to try different versions of HDLoader or using a different boot file besides the standard slus. Anyone have any ideas? ToxicFish , Mar 14, I did a search for the latest version of hdloader and I came up with this It works! I've tested two other versions of HDLoader including the latest 8B, and both don't work.
The one listed seems to have done the trick. I wonder who uploaded it..? I have a couple of questions about this. Im not really big on using the ELF and dummy files so basically i was wondering how you used this file?
While not required anymore due to the fact that the megaup links have been removed, uBlock origin is recommended for visiting some links on this megathread and just the web in general, it blocks ads, trackers and much more. As for Android, first go to the playstore download Firefox, this will be the browser that you download ALL roms with, after that tap on the addons button and select uBlock Origin, it will be first on the list as it's the most popular addon for Android Firefox.
Add it to Firefox, and you are done. The file hosting services mega. To bypass the mega. For the VPN just connect and you're good to go. For the proxies you'll need to use some 3rd party tool like JDownloader2 and give it the list of proxies, do note that this process is fairly advanced. After that you can start downloading by feeding JDownloader2 links to the files you would like to download.
